This ragi dosa is prepared without rice flour and without curd or buttermilk. Instead I have used wheat flour\/atta and water. So it comes out crispy in the corners and soft in the middle. So you can make this instant ragi dosa for your lunch box, breakfast and dinner. Very easy to make too. Ragi is rich in dietary fibre. So it is good for irregular bowel movements. This dosa tastes heaven with Tomato chutney. Tomato chutney or coconut chutney is the best side dish for ragi dosa. I personally like tomato chutney combination and they are made for each other:). Check it out friends !<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asvadha.com\/2009\/01\/announcing-made-for-each-other.html\"><br \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/RAGIDOSA1.jpg?ssl=1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"325\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/RAGIDOSA1.jpg?resize=400%2C325&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"wp-image-5071\" width=\"400\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Ragi flour \u2013 1\/2 cup<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Wheat flour \u2013 1\/2 cup<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Salt \u2013 to taste <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Water \u2013 to make batter (I used 2 to 2.5 cups )<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To mix with batter<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Big onion \u2013 1 (finely chopped) <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Jeera\/ cumin seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Green chilli \u2013 1 (finely chopped) <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Curry leaves \u2013 a sprig <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\"> Coriander leaves &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Mix ragi and wheat flour with salt and water. <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Add all the items given under \u201cto mix with batter\u201d. Mix with it. <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">The batter should be watery and free-flowing. If the batter is thick, dosa comes out thick. To make crispy dosa, you should make the batter watery.<\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Heat a dosa tawa and pour the batter in a circular manner starting from the sides and finishing in the middle. Drizzle some oil after the dosa ia half cooked. Cook for sometime. <\/li>\n<li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">Flip it over and make a thin dosa. Fold and serve!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Crispy n healthy raagi dosa is ready to eat!!<br \/>\nServe with tomato chutney\/Idly milagaai podi!!<\/p>\n<p>Note: Instead of onions, we can add crushed pepper and jeera. Very easy to prepare, at the same time very tasty too:)<br \/>\nIngredients:<br \/>\nTo grind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ripe Tomato \u2013 2 nos <\/li>\n<li>Small onions\/Pearl onions \u2013 10 nos <\/li>\n<li>Red chilly \u2013 2-3 nos(add more depending on your taste) <\/li>\n<li>Garlic cloves &#8211; 2 <\/li>\n<li>Salt \u2013 to taste <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To temper:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mustard seeds \u2013 little <\/li>\n<li>Urad dal \u2013 1\/4 tsp <\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves \u2013 1 sprig <\/li>\n<li>Cooking Oil \u2013 2 tsp <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grind all the items given under \u201cto grind\u201d and make it a smooth paste. <\/li>\n<li>Heat a kadai with oil and temper all the items given under \u201cto temper\u201d . <\/li>\n<li>Now add the chutney to it and bring it to boil. <\/li>\n<li>It should boil till the raw smell leaves and becomes thick.
