width: 100%;\">\n<\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#efefef\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\n<ul>\n<li>Soak the tamarind in warm water for 20 minutes and take the extract using a cup of water. Set aside.\n<li>Pressure cook all the ingredients given under &#8220;to pressure cook&#8221; till one whistle.Mash the dal and set aside. Heat oil in a kadai and roast all the items given above in the same order till nice aroma arises.Powder coarsely and keep aside. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Idli Sambar with toor dal\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/toor-dal-sambar-recipe-1.jpg?ssl=1\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;\" title=\"Idli Sambar with toor dal\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>In the same kadai , add oil and saute the items given under \u201cTo Saute\u201d.Saute till tomato turns mushy.Then add the sambar powder, tamarind extract, hing &amp; salt. Add some raw curry leaves. Allow it to boil till the onion gets cooked.Lower the flame.
