The crispness of this dosa lies in the consistency of batter like rava dosa. Adding more water makes it look dry. So add the water correctly. Wheat flour &amp; oats gives the softness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" trbidi=\"on\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" trbidi=\"on\">Do try this healthy dosa for breakfast or dinner. It tastes great with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/2009\/10\/hotel-white-red-chutney.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>coconut chutney<\/strong><\/a>. I tried idli podi using horse gram as an accompaniment for this dosa which i\u2019ll post soon. Make this dosa &amp; serve immediately for better taste. Oats tastes the best when it is eaten hot \ud83d\ude09 Lets see how to make Instant oats dosa with Indian oats !<\/p>\n<div id=\"inpostAd1PlaceHolder\">\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><b><br \/><\/b><br \/>\n<strong>1 cup &#8211; 200ml<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#efefef\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" style=\"width: 500px;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"bottom\" width=\"500\">\n<ul>\n<li>Powdered oats \u2013 1\/4 cup&nbsp; ( I used quaker quick oats)  <\/li>\n<li>Wheat flour \u2013 1\/4 cup  <\/li>\n<li>Rice flour \u2013 1\/8 cup  <\/li>\n<li>Sooji\/rava \u2013 3 tbsp  <\/li>\n<li>Pepper corns \u2013 1 tsp  <\/li>\n<li>Jeera \u2013 1.5 tsp  <\/li>\n<li>Ginger \u2013 1 inch&nbsp; (chop finely)  <\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves \u2013 few  <\/li>\n<li>Coriander leaves \u2013 few  <\/li>\n<li>Sour buttermilk \u2013 1\/4 cup OR sour curd &#8211; 2 tbsp  <\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; water \u2013 as needed.  <\/li>\n<li>Big onion \u2013 1 no (finely chopped \u2013 optional) ( i don\u2019t use)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<strong><br \/><\/strong><strong>METHOD<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#efefef\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" style=\"width: 500px;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"500\">\n<ul>\n<li>Powder the oats and mix with all other flours together adding the required salt .. (Dry roast the oats before powdering them is optional)  <\/li>\n<li>Add the pepper corns, jeera, chopped ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves.  <\/li>\n<li>Add the sour butter milk, salt and mix well. Add the required water to adjust the batter consistency.  <\/li>\n<li>Heat the dosa tawa and sprinkle little oil.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Then pour the batter in a circular motion from the corner towards the center. Fill the gaps by sprinkling more batter.  <\/li>\n<li>Drizzle little oil around the dosa and keep the flame high for few secs.  <\/li>\n<li>The corners of dosa will lift automatically. Now flip the dosa and reduce the flame. This time I powdered without roasting which also tasted good. So roasting is optional but it gives an additional flavour.  <\/li>\n<li>Adding finely chopped onions is purely optional. I don\u2019t add it.  <\/li>\n<li>U can also add crushed pepper corns instead of adding whole ones.  <\/li>\n<li>U can make this dosa by adding rice flour &amp; sooji along with oats.  <\/li>\n<li>Ragi flour can also be added instead of sooji to get the crispness. This makes the dosa healthier but the color of the dosa will be black.  <\/li>\n<li>Batter should be watery. If you make the first dosa, you\u2019ll get to know how much water has to be added to get crispy dosas.
