It was very nice with idli. <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Smile\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wlEmoticon-smile-2.png?ssl=1\" style=\"border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none;\"> . As i had less onions in my pantry , i used more tomatoes &amp; less onion. The actual recipe suggested to use equal number of onions &amp; tomatoes.Try any based on ur liking. <\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/tomato-chutney-recipe.jpg?ssl=1\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"640\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/tomato-chutney-recipe.jpg?resize=500%2C640&#038;ssl=1\" class=\"wp-image-4691\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#efefef\" border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" style=\"width: 400px;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"400px\">\n<ul>\n<li>Tomato \u2013 2 nos  <\/li>\n<li>Big onion \u2013 1 no  <\/li>\n<li>Red chillies \u2013 4 &#8211; 5 nos ( for less spice , use 3)  <\/li>\n<li>Fried gram dal \/ Pottukadalai \u2013 2 tbsp  <\/li>\n<li>Garlic cloves \u2013 4 nos  <\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; water \u2013 As needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To temper<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cooking oil \u2013 1 tsp  <\/li>\n<li>Mustard seeds \u2013 1\/2 tsp  <\/li>\n<li>Urad dal \u2013 1\/2 tsp  <\/li>\n<li>Curry leaves &#8211; few<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" bgcolor=\"#efefef\" border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"1\" cellspacing=\"1\" style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"100%\">\n<ul>\n<li>Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai and add the red chillies &amp; garlic flakes.saute well and then add the sliced onions. Saute until the onions turn transparent.Then add the chopped tomatoes.Saute till tomato turns mushy. Add salt for quick saute.  <\/li>\n<li>At last add the fried gram dal and switch off the flame. Grind to a smooth paste and temper with ingredients given above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a
