recipe\"><\/div>\n<p>\nI wanted to try chutney recipes with vegetables for long time.To begin with,i tried carrot chutney for dosa this morning.I had already tried carrot chutney recipe with different combinations like with coconut, with dal,tomato etc from different blogs.But finally settled with <a href=\"http:\/\/cooking.jingalala.org\/2013\/09\/carrot-chutney-recipe-south-indian-chutney-recipes-sidedish-for-idly-dosai\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: purple;\">this recipe<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"color: purple;\"><\/span> <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Smile\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" border-top-style: none;\">.This chutney tastes little spicy and this spiciness helps to overcome the sweetness of carrot.Earlier, whenever i make carrot chutney,Sendhil used to say there is a mild sweetness in the chutney which he didn\u2019t like and he ask me to keep<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/2013\/01\/idli-milagai-podi-idli-podi-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: purple;\">idli podi<\/span><\/a><\/strong> instead of&nbsp; chutney<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Shifty\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-shifty\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/wlEmoticon-shifty2.png?ssl=1\" style=\"border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none;\">.But this time,he ate two more dosas with this chutney without asking podi.It shows the success of this recipe right?? <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/span>  <\/li>\n<li><span itemprop=\"ingredients\">Urad dal &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/span>  <\/li>\n<li><span itemprop=\"ingredients\">Curry leaves &#8211; few<\/span>  <\/li>\n<li><span 10pt;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and grate the carrot.Chop onions,slit chillies,peel garlic and set aside.  <\/li>\n<li>Heat pan with 1 tsp of oil and saute the grated carrots till it turns pale orange &amp; raw smell leaves as u see in the picture.Remove in a plate and let it cool. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Carrot-chutney-step1_thumb-4.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" padding-top: 0px;\" title=\"Carrot chutney step1\" width=\"500\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the same pan,heat 1 tbsp of oil and saute the onions,chillies and garlic cloves.Saute till onion turns transparent.  <\/li>\n<li>After everything cools down,grind them to a smooth paste adding salt,tamarind and water.Temper all the ingredients given above and add to the chutney.Mix well and serve with idli,dosa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chitrasfoodbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Carrot-chutney-step2_thumb-2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" best taste.But i used big onions here.  <\/li>\n<li>Add more chillies if u want the chutney more spicy.  <\/li>\n<li>Saute carrots till the raw smell leaves completely.It is very important for this
