Thanks for your recipe
I'm from mauritius and here we do sweet puttu.
I have tried to make puttu but was never satisfied.
It became hard and dry.
I was cooking it for 12-15 minutes
I guess that's why

I'll try your recipe but add sugar like we do here.

It was my first attempt making puttu and it turned out amazing !!!!! Your tips and detailed explanation helped a lot and i thin that is why it turned out perfect !!! Thank u sooo much

nice puttu.do we have to eat it hot or ll it be nice to eat after some time.because for my family i have to make 2 or 3 batches of puttu.i have eaten this with kadala curry.one silly question,do we have to smash banana with puttu and eat?
